Foundations

Health and wellbeing is a lifetime practice of dedication and evolution.

Whether you have long term health issues, or simply want to avoid what we are often told is part of the ageing process. If you want to have more control over your health than a standard medication and you no longer wish to hand over your health and want to learn how to regain the vitality within then join me for a year of wellness that will serve your lifetime.

Foundations is a year long exploration of simple routines that provide a baseline of wellbeing and health. These simple routines are the foundations of simple self-care. Regular self-helps you navigate life’s challenges. As we tick along in our everyday life we may not notice what is not helping our wellbeing. As soon as life throws a curve ball the body systems can be rocked to the core. When we have developed simple routines of self care we are better able to handle these challenges that life brings up.

Foundations comprises four quarters of learning and implementing  simple habits, based in the science and philosophy of yoga and Ayurveda . These habits are available to everyone, whether you practice yoga asana or not. The course is designed to introduce you  week by week to the routines used for wellbeing. In the second part of the course you can dive into deeper understanding of each habit and begin to implement, or add on to your routine. The third quarter is about refinement, what is working, what is not. The last quarter to ease you into your understanding and setting you up to continue the journey by yourself. 

All sessions will be recorded, so if you are unable to make one class you will be able to catch up another time. As we work through each habit in each quarter you will have a whole year to be able to catch up with any particular theme.

In addition to the live and recorded group sessions, you will be offered one yoga therapy session per quarter with me (total four sessions). These will be carried out online. You will also have the opportunity to book a 30 minute focus session each quarter to discuss hardest habits. Plus each quarter you will be provided with a unique blend of essential oils to help you focus on the coming quarter and the health you want to achieve.

The course is available as a single quarterly option, however refinement and follow through are keys to continued successful implementation. If you wish to take the course only over the period of one quarter please contact me for pricing details.

VIP Option includes a private retreat in the UK or Crete. We'll design your perfect package together including what you love into the habits to experience true easeful living.

Katie Maughfling is a health coach, yoga therapist, Yoga Nidra facilitator, essential oils therapist and yoga teacher. In addition to group health coaching she is available for bespoke yoga therapy and essential oil therapy.
